Making the Grade
Seattle University is one of the nation's top institutions for undergraduate education, according to the Princeton Review. Quality of campus life, academics and location landed SU high marks in Princeton Review's 2009 ratings of The Best 368 Colleges. Only about 15 percent of the country's 2,500 four-year colleges and universities make it into the annual guidebook.

Making a Difference
Students like Megan Locicero put in some serious sweat equity to beautify West Seattle's Lincoln Park as part of a service-learning project. The students were among the 200 young people, representing the 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the U.S., in Seattle for an SU-hosted national leadership conference. Over the course of five days participants not only gave back to the community but also attended educational workshops and lectures and a special Mass at the chapel.
Team Effort
For the second consecutive year, the volleyball squad has earned the GamePlan/AVCA Team Academic Award from the American Volleyball Coaches Association. The honor recognizes college and high school teams that demonstrate excellence on and off the court. Collectively, Seattle University's volleyball team boasts an impressive 3.519 GPA.
